Why do so few companies reach their growth targets?
Nine out of ten companies fail to reach their growth target over a ten-year period. Most of them have set one. Few can say exactly what it rests on.
On 22 October, we are inviting business leaders and others in senior positions to a breakfast with Mats Georgson, PhD and adviser to business leaders.
What Mats will talk about that morning is based on his own review of thousands of listed companies. From these, he has picked out the ones that have grown by more than ten per cent a year on average over ten years, which is roughly one company in a hundred, and looked at what they have in common. The answer is not a technological edge or a bigger advertising budget. They have done something different with their business, and Mats will explain what.
