Kick off the weekend with an After Work with Jeff Cowen

In collaboration with Willas contemporary, we are delighted to present Impermanence and Interval, an exhibition of works by Jeff Cowen.

Cowen works exclusively with analogue photography, using negative formats ranging from 35 mm to 8 × 10 inches, and makes all his prints himself in his custom-built darkroom. For him, the image captured by the camera is not the end result but the starting point for an artistic exploration of the subject. He exposes his prints to chemical processes and works the surface by hand, often finishing with painting and collage once the darkroom work is done. Come and see a selection of Jeff’s photographic works and hear him talk about his art.
